MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />DECEMBER 9, 2020 <br /> <br />Jonathan read that Conservation approved the project, and there were no comments from <br />Board of Health. There were no abutter phone calls. <br /> <br />Mr. Bonvie made a motion to issue a 50 ft. Variance to George and Kathleen Hodgson of <br />17 Cedar St. under §174-33 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for construction of an elevated <br />stairway to a dock situated within the wetlands resource area on property located in an R- <br />3 Zoning District, Map 77 Parcel 37, Mashpee, MA with the following conditions; <br /> <br />1. The Board has determined that the applicant meets all the conditions of a Variance <br />under Mass General Law 40A Section 10. <br /> <br />2. Site Plan: A stairway realignment development plan for George & Kathleen <br />Hodgson, 17 Cedar St., Mashpee, MA. Prepared by: Wet Tech Land Design, Inc., <br />Sca-15-2018, Checked by: <br />Gustavo Raposo PE, Job No. 18-6100, Revised: Sept. 15, 2020, Elevated Walkway <br />Sheet 1 of 1. <br /> <br />3. The Board issues a Variance from the wetlands in the amount of 50 ft. <br /> <br />4. Conditioned on all Town Department comments read into the record. This <br />supersedes the prior approval issued for the same property and for the project. <br /> <br />Mr. Gould second, yes <br />Mr. Blaisdell, yes, <br />Mr. Bonvie, yes, <br />Mr. Goldstein, yes, <br />Mr. Furbush, yes. <br />All were in favor to approve the Variance request for the elevated stairway. <br /> <br />190 Monomoscoy Road: Owner, Kevin Cayer requests a Variance under §174-31 of the <br />Zoning Bylaws to vary the front setback, lot size, and frontage requirements to allow for <br />construction of a single-family residence on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, <br />Map 114 Parcel 41A, Mashpee, MA. (Continued until January 13, 2021 hearings at the <br />request of the Attorney). <br /> <br />Mr. Goldstein stepped down from this hearing. Mr. Bonvie made a motion to accept the <br />applicant, Owner Kevin Cayer request to continue the Variance request at 190 <br />Monomoscoy Road, until January 13, 2021. <br /> <br />Mr. Gould, second, yes, <br />Mr. Blaisdell, yes, <br />Mr. Bonvie, yes, <br />Ms. Sangeleer, yes, <br />Mr. Furbush, yes. <br />All were in favor to approve the continuance until January 13, 2021. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
