�hh.fl�1lAW�. /" m <br /> bilrn <br /> Alashpec <br /> 02649 <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> Mashpee Plan Review Committee <br /> Tuesday, September 21, 2021 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Plan Review Members Present: <br /> David Morris Building Commissioner <br /> Glen Harrington, Health Agent <br /> Chris Gallagher, Town Engineer <br /> Evan Lehrer, Town Planner <br /> Tom Rullo, Fire Chief <br /> Catherine Laurent, DPW Director <br /> Dave Morris called the meeting to order at 9:07 a.m. <br /> NEW HEARINGS <br /> Project Address: 61 Echo Road Unit B <br /> Business Name: Boat Butler LLC <br /> Owner/Agent: Connor Thomas <br /> Architect/Engineer: Holmes and McGrath, Inc. <br /> Request: For use under§174-25 (G) (4), as a marine detailing and repair business <br /> located in the rear section approximately 1,500 sq. ft. of existing building. (Requires <br /> a ZBA modification to existing Special Permit SP-2021-38). <br /> Connor represented himself for the business request. He provided a list of hazardous materials. He <br /> said about 80% of the work is done off site. The detailing, bottom painting, shrink wrapping for <br /> Boson's Marine in Mashpee. He said that the facility at Echo Road is mostly for storage of supplies, <br /> and for employee vehicles. The space is very important during the winter time for the work required <br /> indoors. The work performed is black paint, compounding, detailing, and bottom painting. Most of the <br /> work is done off-site. <br /> Glen Harrington, Board of Health Agent: <br /> Glen said he reviewed the list of hazardous materials that are stored at the site, and said he knows <br /> that these items necessary for this type of work. He would like to know that safety data sheets are <br /> kept onsite. He asked if there was any other bulk storage. Connor said that 30 gallons is the most <br /> that is stored in their service trailers. Glen asked if some of the materials were used for spraying. <br /> Connor said that all of the bottom painting is rolled on, and the paint material is water based paint, <br /> and any spraying would be aerosol cans. Nothing is used with a spray gun or compressed air. <br /> Glen asked Dave if a tight tank is required for the boats stored indoors. Dave wanted to confirm this <br /> with the Plumbing Inspector. Dave said that there doesn't seem to be engine work or motor repair, <br /> and would not be required. <br /> Glen mentioned to Connor that a meeting with the Board of Health will be required, and to have <br /> Holmes and McGrath setup a meeting with Glen to get on the Agenda by filling out the Variance <br /> application and request for the Agenda online. <br /> Chris Gallagher, Town Engineer— No comments <br /> 1 <br />
