Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on August 27, 2021 and September 3, 2021 a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, <br /> September 22, 2021 at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were <br /> present and acting throughout; Acting Chairman, Ron Bonvie, Board Member, Scott <br /> Goldstein, and Associate Members Sharon Sangeleer, George Ganzenmuller, and Charles <br /> Reidy. <br /> Connor Thomas, Principal of the Boat Butler, LLC represented himself for his boat <br /> detailing business located at 61 Echo Road Unit B. The Boat Butler will be occupying a <br /> contractor bay that is approximately 1,500 sq. ft. requesting the specific use and a <br /> Modification to an existing Special Permit (SP-2021-38) that was issued to Driscoll <br /> Electric, who owns and occupies the 7,440 sq. ft. building. <br /> Mr. Thomas provided the Board with a detailed narrative of this business that includes boat <br /> detailing, shrink wrapping, electronic installation, and storage of boats. Most of the work, <br /> including the bottom painting, will be performed offsite at another location. He will be <br /> providing staging and storage of boats,and there will be no spraying of marine paints at 61 <br /> Echo Road. His hours of operation will be 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM,twelve months a year. He <br /> also provided a list of cleaning products that will be used and stored onsite. <br /> 1 <br />
