MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT MODIFICATION (SP-2021-38) <br /> Petitioner, Connor Thomas, Boat Butler LLC <br /> 61 Echo Road (Unit B) <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> MOD-2021-5 5 <br /> Mr. Thomas presented his business request to the Plan Review Committee on September <br /> 21,2021.The Committee discussed their concerns and provided specific recommendations <br /> that were forwarded to the Zoning Board. Committee members, Mr. Thomas Rullo, Fire <br /> Chief, Mr. David Morris, Building Commissioner, and Glen Harrington, Board of Health <br /> Agent, and Catherine Laurent, DPW Director provided their comments and were read into <br /> the record. <br /> The Board reviewed the concerns and recommendations of the various departments and <br /> were satisfied with the "use" at the location. There were no abutters present. <br /> In view of the foregoing, the Board determined the Petitioner met the criteria for a Special <br /> Permit Modification. Upon motion duly made and seconded at the Public Hearings on <br /> Wednesday, September 22,2021 the Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously to issue <br /> a Modification to 61 Echo Road (Unit B) Petitioner, Connor Thomas, (Boat Butler LLC) <br /> under §174-25 (G) (4) of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for marine detailing and repair <br /> business on property located in the I-1 and Light Industrial Overlay Zoning District, Map <br /> 19 Parcel 3-6, Mashpee, MA with the following conditions; <br /> 1. The Board has determined that the applicant meets all the conditions of a Special <br /> Permit Modification under Mass General Law 40A Section 9. <br /> 2. The Board determined that the applicant meets the "use" definition under Section <br /> 174-25 (G) (4). <br /> 3. Conditioned on all Town Department comments read into the record including but <br /> not limited to the Fire Department and Plan Review Comments listed below; <br /> • A letter to the Board submitted from Fire Chief,Thomas Rullo dated September <br /> 21, 2021. <br /> • Plan Review Committee draft of the recommendations from their meeting dated <br /> September 21, 2021. <br /> • Narrative of the Boat Butler submitted by Connor Thomas. <br /> 2 <br />
