All were in favor. <br /> Sitting on this hearing are the four regular Board members and Sharon Sangeleer. <br /> 43 Bowdoin Road: Petitioner, Jon Hagenstein, Beacon Marine Construction, LLC <br /> requests a Special Permit under §174-25 G (13) of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for a <br /> contractors yard for construction business including storage of floats, docks, and related <br /> marine supplies, materials, and equipment on property located in an I-1 Zoning District, <br /> Map 62 Parcel 79, Mashpee, MA. (Owner of Record: Crown Atlantic Company LLC). <br /> Attorney Alex Rodolakis represented the applicant who is requesting a Special Permit, and <br /> is in the process of acquiring the parcel at 43 Bowdoin Rd. Also present is Raul from Cape <br /> & Islands Engineer, and Jon Hagenstein, with Beacon Marine who is one of the owners of <br /> the business located at 37 Bowdoin Rd. The business was acquired back in 2015 and has <br /> been doing very well. The owner is seeping to improve the efficiency of their business <br /> which consists of dock and float related construction. The owners would like use the lot <br /> for storage of their client's docks and floats that are removed from the area. This parcel is <br /> located adjacent to Bosun Marine, and Botello's Hardware Store. The lot will be consistent <br /> with the neighborhood. There are no plans to construct a building on the lot, and the cell <br /> towers are remaining. The lot will be cleared and use it for the purpose as a contractor's <br /> yard. <br /> Mr. Hagenstein mentioned that they need storage space for their equipment, and staging <br /> for their offsite projects. They currently have 25 employees, machinery and equipment <br /> such as pickup trucks, work boats, and boat trailers. There will be no increase in traffic <br /> flow on the road. <br /> Mr. Furbush reviewed the definition and requirements under the bylaws for a Special <br /> Permit with the Board. He asked the applicant to discuss the ground water protection of the <br /> property. <br /> 12 <br />
