2 <br /> Selectmen to acquire by eminent domain or purchase or gift an easement <br /> for water supply purposes inj upon, over and under private streets <br /> within the Bariarwood/Otis Trailer Park Area--Phase 11 said streets <br /> being more particularly shown on a sketch plan entitled 'Plan Showing <br /> Takings for Utility Easements, Mashpee. MA. " a copy of which is on <br /> file in the office of the Town Clerk. <br /> Motion to indefinitely postpone* * . . . . . . . .motion c ". . ... . . . . . . : 3 .M. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends this Article with the provision that <br /> monies do not exceed the $20 ,rOOO appropriated in Article 35 at the <br /> Annual Town Meeting. <br /> Article 35 of the May 4j 1987 Annual Town Meeting voted to take an <br /> easement by eminent domain or purchase on behalf of the Town for water <br /> supply purposes. Legal ownership of road easement has not been clear <br /> in some inst-ansces and, Town Counsel recommends this article in order <br /> to proceed with the easement plan by including the words, # or gift or <br /> easement. " <br /> Article 2 <br /> To see if the <br /> Town will vote to construct a well and /or' wte <br /> distribution system to serve the area indicated, on a plan" entitled <br /> "Summerwood-Asher ' s Path Area, Service Areas, Water Mains' on file in <br /> the office of the Town Clerk, and that to accomplish said purpos-e, and <br /> for expenses incidental and related thereto, the Town vote to appro- <br /> priate $1, 7 8 , 0 , and to raise such appropriation, the Treasur-erp <br /> with the approval, of the Board of Selectmen, be authorized to borrow <br /> at one time, or from time to time, $11768,p600 under and pursuant to <br /> Chapter 44, Section 71 and Chapter 44-, Section 8F subsections 1. 31, <br /> 7, 7A and 7C of Massachusetts General Laws, or any other enabling <br /> authority,* and to issue bonds or notes of ,the Town theare orr with said <br /> indebtedness authorization contingent upon passage of a referendum t <br /> exclude the principal and interest on such debt from the tax levy <br /> limitation imposed by Chapter 59, Section 21C of Massachusetts General <br /> Laws _so-called Propo i tion 2 1/2 ; and further , to see if the Town <br /> will vote to raise and appropriate $1.32j,645 to the Summers d-Asherls <br /> Path Water Pro e.c t `.l t'ere s t - c c cunt--i--ah the Issuance on Debt <br /> Accouni. <br /> Notion tc _ p ,o . to and borrow $ p 7680.E ,%a to. raise and pp op i-ate <br /> .
