The Police Department has given the center <br /> permission to use the other side of the poles. Mr. Yarosh stated that there will be ample <br /> lighting for the exterior and interior of the building. ` '.--� gh g g. Mr. Govoni stated that the Board of <br /> Health would handle that issue and that the DPW would handle the traffic problem. 1 <br /> r 3 <br /> 1y� <br /> Mr. Govoni asked what their concerns were regarding the Club. The abutters stated that <br /> they needed some specifics regarding the proposed Club. Mr. Govoni stated that the Club <br /> has been funded by donations and that a few trees had been cut down to let the public <br /> A know that construction of the Club was at hand. Mrs. Fearnley questioned why the Club <br /> = was being discussed as being between the Fire Station and the Police Station. Mr. Yarosh �w <br /> r stated that the site is behind the Police Station. The abutters expressed concerns regardingj <br /> p <br /> the entrance and exit for the Club. Mr. Yarosh indicated that the Police Department and i <br /> Fire Department have agreed to share the same entrance and exit and stated that it will not � <br /> pose any major problems. He further stated that there are 68 parking spaces and that <br /> there will be a connecting area to the Coombs School in case of an overflow. The Town ,r <br /> ' of Mashpee has indicated that it is considering donating some more land behind the <br /> `A Police Station if it is needed. <br /> rr Ms. Fearnley expressed concerns regarding noise coming from music,the skating rink <br /> V g . <br /> x and basketball court. Mr. Govoni stated that the center will only be open until 8:00 p.m. <br /> .c. The representatives of the Board of Directors of the center indicated that the majority of <br /> children using the center will be between 6 and 12 years of age, and, further,with the <br /> close proximity to the Police Station there will be very little truancy.
