Mr. Wojciechowicz• <br /> g represented their <br /> applications and stated that they seek a finding from the Board that the proposed addition <br /> will not be more detrimental to the neighborhood than the existing, non-conforming <br /> gb g, > , <br /> structure. He said that their home was developed in the 1970's as part of a cluster <br /> subdivision. Mr. Wojciechowicz stated that the addition will provide much needed llvm �11 t ; <br /> space in order to accommodate large family gatherings. He also stated that the rear } <br /> corner of the building is only 11.5 feet from the side lot line. The proposed addition will ` <br /> add 373 square feet of living space but only add 283 square feet to the lot coverage--any <br /> increase of 2.1%. The lot coverage will be 17.3, well below the allowed lot coverage for <br /> a subdivision. i <br /> Mr. Wojciechowicz submitted photos of the current dwelling and photos of the abutting <br /> J p g p g t � . <br /> homes. He stated that while the proposal does further encroach on the sideline setback 4 <br /> requirements, it will be of minimal disruption to his household and to the present <br /> r � <br /> vegetation and landscaping. Mr. Wojciechowicz stated that the addition will be an �� ' N <br /> improvement to the home,it will increase the value of his home and benefit the �� } <br /> neighborhood. The use of the home will remain the same— single-family 'gh as a residence. <br /> Mr. Guerrera questioned how close the abutters' home will be to the addition. 4 w' <br /> proposed <br /> Mr■ Wojciechowicz stated that it will be approximately 18 to 20 feet. <br /> ' f� <br /> i <br /> '. <br /> Mr.Nelson questioned f the shed is a permanent structure. Mr. Wojciechowicz stated "i <br /> that the shed is sitting on concrete blocks. Mr.Nelson suggested that the shed could be , <br /> considered portable and the Board would not have to be concerned with it. Mr. <br /> Wojciechowicz submitted photos of the shed. _ <br /> Mr. Wojciechowicz further stated that he is replacing his septic system. He submitted <br /> Cape & Islands Engineering plans for the proposed new septic system. <br /> Mr.Regan read letters from abutters, Thomas Davies and James A. Young,and a petition ,, A m N <br /> signed by 20 members of the Greenwood Homeowner's Association expressing approval r+IJ rp <br /> of the proposed addition. �• <br /> Mr.Nelson also informed the Board that he received a phone call from one of the <br /> neighbors who stated that when the Wojciechowicz family purchased their home, it was a ; <br /> "disaster".
