•February 27, 2015 <br />Page 7 <br />Traffic Flow And Traffic Safety <br />The proposed business site is designed to have a safe internal traffic flow pattern <br />and provides adequate off-street parking and a safe means of ingress and egress. The <br />proposed business will have a low volume of customers and vendors and, thus, will <br />generate only small amount of traffic and therefore will not have any adverse effects on <br />traffic flow or traffic safety. <br />Disturbances <br />The proposed project will not cause excessive levels of noise, vibration, electrical <br />disturbance, radioactivity or glare. All repair work on vehicles will take place within the <br />building and, thus, noise generated by repair activities will be contained within the <br />building. The sales activity outside is benign and will not result in any disturbances. <br />Waste Disposal <br />•The proposed business will not produce excessive amounts of trash, refuse or <br />debris. All waste produced by the business will be removed from the site by a licensed <br />waste hauler and will be properly disposed of. <br />Based upon the foregoing, the proposed use is appropriate for the Mashpee <br />Industrial Park. It is allowed in the Industrial District by Special Permit. The Applicant <br />respectfully asserts that he has demonstrated that the project satisfies each of the <br />applicable Special Permit criteria set forth in the Zoning Bylaw and may be appropriately <br />allowed on the Premises by Special Permit. Accordingly, Mr. Carter respectfully <br />requests that the Planning Board grant him a Special Permit that allows him to proceed <br />with his proposed project. <br />B. Outdoor Display. <br />Mr. Carter has proposed parking on the sides of the building. He asserts that the <br />dimensions of the parking spaces comply with § 174-38 of the Zoning Bylaw; that the <br />number of spaces complies with § 173-39 of the Bylaw; and that the location of the <br />parking complies with § 174-37. <br />Mr. Carter has also proposed a paved area in front of the building that will serve as <br />• an area for outdoor display of the cars that he will be offering for sale.
