Town of Mashpee <br />/6 Creat Sreck Ytond,i\torch <br />11'Masltpee, Massachusetts Ow <br />MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />JULY 22, 2015 <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, July 22, <br />2015, at 6:00 p.m. in the Waquoit Room at the Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road <br />North. Board Members Jonathan D. Furbush, William A. Blaisdell, Richard Jodka, <br />Domingo K. DeBarros, and Associate Member, Scott Goldstein were present. Building <br />Commissioner, Michael Mendoza was also present. Board Member, Ron Bonvie was <br />absent. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Discuss revised Articles as reviewed by Town Counsel <br />The Board discussed and read aloud the minor revisions made to the Articles. <br />CONTINUED HEARINGS <br />• 266 Monomoscoy Road: Owners, Thomas F. and Bonnie Ann Smith request a Special <br />Permit under §174-25 (I) (9) of the Zoning By-laws to allow for construction of a 12 foot <br />ramp and an 8' x 25' float on property located in an R-3 Zoning District. Assessors Map <br />120 Parcel 57B, Mashpee, MA. (Continued frau July 8, 2015 Hearings at the request of <br />the applicants). <br />Mr. John Slavinsky, represented the applicants for the proposed project. At the prior <br />meeting, the Board stated there were three pending issues that needed to be cleared up <br />before a decision could be made. These issues were as follows; ' <br />-Board of Health $800 fine. <br />-Service contract for septic system. <br />-Harbormaster requirements and conditions. <br />Jonathan confirmed with the applicant that the float will be 8' x 25' feet, and there were no <br />issues with the Harbormaster. John Slavinsky said the Harbormaster requested the specific <br />location for the dock as depicted on the plan. The Conservation Order of Conditions was <br />recorded at the Barnstable Registry of Deeds as Book #28002 Page 206. <br />Jonathan read the Board of Health comments into the record; "We received the contract for <br />the UA system at 266 Monomoscoy Road on Friday, 17 July 2015.", and an email dated <br />July 2, 2015: "The $800.00 fine has been paid in full and deposited. I checked with the <br />is <br />operator of the composting toilet at 266 Monomoscoy Rd and he said that he will supply a <br />contract for 2015 when he gets back from vacation. The Smiths have the rest of the year to <br />comply with the annual maintenance of their system." <br />
