9 <br />• <br />MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />JULY 22, 2015 <br />Jonathan read the comments from the Harbormaster into the record; "The Harbormaster <br />requires that the dock/floats including 10A floats must be updated to black hard plastic <br />encapsulated block flotation and all the foam/Styrofoam be removed and disposed of <br />properly. This will help eliminate the issue of storm bourn debris on our bays, lakes and <br />rivers. <br />Also that the street address must be permanently and clearly displayed with minimum of <br />3" block letters with contrasting color at end of pier/piling for emergency purposes, and in <br />addition to the owners address be permanently affixed on all floats and ramps with 3" block <br />letters with contrasting color. Otherwise, The Harbormaster has no issue with this plan." <br />Mr. Blaisdell made a motion to approve the Special Permit based on the following <br />conditions: <br />1. The $800 Board of Health fine was paid on July 2"d, and the contract was received <br />on Friday, July 17`h. <br />2. Conservation issued an Order of Conditions on 5/28/2015. <br />3. Harbormaster Conditions/Requirements for dock/floats as noted in his email dated <br />6/30/15. <br />4. A Plan titled; DEP-43-2755 Adding a Ramp, Float & Fender Piles, Located in <br />Mashpee, Mass. Prepared for Bonnie Smith, dated: December 20, 2014, Scale: 1" <br />=20', File: 111 MA, mono266, prepared by: Cape & Islands Engineering, LLC, 800 <br />Falmouth Rd., Ste. 301 C, Mashpee, MA 02649. Rev. March 7, 2015: Increase Bent <br />Section from 10' to 16' on center. Rev. April 7, 2015 relocate dock to maintain 25' <br />from southern property line. Per Harbormaster. Add Public Access Stairs. <br />Mr. Jodka, seconded, yes, Mr. Furbush, yes, Mr. Goldstein, yes, and Mr. DeBarros, yes. <br />All were in favor. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />Approve July 8, 2015 Meeting Minutes <br />Mr. Furbush made a motion to approve, yes, Mr. Blaisdell seconded, yes, Mr. Jodka, yes, <br />Mr. Goldstein, yes, and Mr. DeBarros, yes.
