Although the Developer has not fret met with the <br /> Association, it is his understanding that they have <br /> compiled a list of concerns for Phase III that will be <br /> addressed and plant-ings will be provided. <br /> Mr. Quinn stated that there are currently eighteen <br /> units to develop, ,a-ll but one has been sold. As-built <br /> plans are currently being prepared and will be filed with <br /> th'e Planning Departm' ent, at which point Applicant will <br /> request to appear b-efore the Board. <br /> The Chairman asked what the Developer intends to use <br /> as a replacement planting. Mr. Quinn responded, "I don' t <br /> have a plan as of this time". <br /> Lee Gurney suggested Applicant consider something <br /> other than arborvitae in order to have this area loop as <br /> natural as possible; to which Mr. Quinn agreed. <br /> There was some discussion rarding the quality of the <br /> soil in this area, as well as growing conditions . <br /> The 'Town Planner suggested ested the applicant prepare and <br /> present a planting list for Board approval prior to the <br /> replanting in order to avoid a repeat of this situation. <br /> e referred to the Condition. that states, "...properly <br /> landscape the area to the satisfaction of the: Pl.anning <br /> Board. " <br /> The Chairman suggested evergreen plantings might be <br /> better suited. <br /> Mr. Rowley suggested Applicant conduct a soil test <br /> prior to replanting in order to determine whether or not <br /> there is contamination; to which Mr. Quinn agreed. <br /> Lee Gurney reminded Mr. Quinn of the Planning Board <br /> suggestion to provide a stop line for vehicles corning out <br /> of Windchime onto Great Neck Road south. Mr. Quinn <br /> responded, ,' e' l l get that pint in for you. " <br /> Dennis Bl arini inquired about the status of the post <br /> office building . Mr. Q'uinn explained there is some <br /> discrepancy between the Applicant and the Association <br /> regarding financial responsibility. The Trustees have <br /> agreed to pay for .a portion of the building and are <br /> requesting to see copies of the estimates prior to <br />
