The appointed hour having arrived the Chairman road <br /> the Public Hearing notice into the Record and called the <br /> Public Hearing to order. <br /> The Chairman recognized John Slavinsky, Cape & Islands <br /> Engineering, representing the Applicant . <br /> Mr. Slavinsky thanked both Mr. Fudala and Mr. Rowley <br /> for their assistance in this matter. He presented a plan <br /> entitled, "Proposed Site Plan located in Mashpee, MA, <br /> prepared for Kevin Cayer, dated July 7, 2004, prepared by <br /> Cape & Islands Engineering" <br /> Mr. Slavinsky stated the Cape Cod Commission has <br /> reviewed this plan and that they a-re under a Development <br /> Agreement with the Applicant . <br /> Mr. Slavinsky explained the lot is located within the <br /> Industrial Park. The use would be a stone counter top <br /> business than will occupy of the building. The <br /> remaining -units will be leased to building contractors . <br /> The building is not suited for medical or storefront use. <br /> The traffic will be minimal; the septic system is <br /> comparable to a -bedroom house. <br /> Dennis Balzarini inquired a-s to hazardous materials on. <br /> site. <br /> Mr. Slavinsky responded that hazardous materials are <br /> included In the agreement with the cape Cod Commission, and <br /> that them is a notation on said- plan by the Maspee Board <br /> of Health Department that would limit the use of hazardous <br /> materials on this property. <br /> Mr. Slavinsky made reference to proposed landscaping <br /> -in the front of the building, and location of the storage <br /> area, septic system and fencing. Applicant will not b <br /> storing/using any hazardous materials and the water use <br /> will be re-circulated. <br /> The Chairman made reference to letters provided by the <br /> Consulting Engineer dated December 6 1h and December 7th <br /> outlining his concerns that would have to be addressed. <br /> Mr . Rowley mentioned a concern for location of the <br /> handicap parking space. <br /> 4 <br />
