at, <br /> I <br /> Open Space Plan Goals and Objectives <br /> The Town Planner requested review and input in this regard as he is attempting to <br /> update the Open Space Plan for the Town Conservation Commission, which is-mandatory <br /> for the submission of self-help applications. The Board Members lave reviewed the <br /> update and are in agreement and support. <br /> Water Quality Report <br /> Windchime Condominium Trust <br /> The Chairman made reference to the six wells located on the property and the <br /> nitrogen and phosphorous levels. The M shpee Commons wastewater treatment facility <br /> plant is also mentioned in this report noting it as a contributor to increased nitrogen <br /> levels. <br /> The report also states that it is suspected that 'surface runoff of rainater accounts <br /> for the majority of the phosphorous load. There is a recommendation to provide some <br /> management of stormwatcr from roadway runoff-in order to reduce runoff discharge to <br /> the river; as well as future surface grater duality monitoring be transferred to an <br /> independent body capable of evaluating regional impacts and trends. <br /> Discussion Items <br /> Trout Pond <br /> There was brief discussion regarding restoration and preservation of the Trout <br /> Pond property as a natural resource. <br /> Proposed Zoning Article <br /> October Torn Meeting <br /> The 'Town Planner informed the Board that Mr. Nelson, Zoning Board o <br /> Appeals, is requesting are amendment.be made to the Bylaw regulating docks and the <br /> Special Permitter process. <br /> There was discussion regarding dimensional process issues, and the possibility of <br /> encouraging shared and community docks. <br /> This amendment would be,.a joint effort,involving the Zoning Board of Appeals, <br /> Planning Board, Shellfish Warden, and Conservation Commission. <br />
