Mr. Furbush had a conversation with the Conservation Department noted that <br />• underground is mainly peat. The potential water run-off is not a concern because <br />the natural environment that was once there to conserve is already gone, but the <br />need to contain the additional runoff from the roof is a concern. Under 174-27.2; <br />the conservation commission is concerned about the vacant sections of the wall, <br />and the natural section of the lot. <br />Mr. Furbush wants information that states how to contain the water, capture and <br />keep the water from getting worse. §174-63 Part C states that a determination <br />granting of a special permit will not result in an increased flood heights, and <br />additional threats to public. §174-65 and §174-66 states you have to fill in the <br />flood zone. <br />Audience Comments: <br />Michael Kelly introduced himself as an abutter from 49 Kim Path in the rear of <br />the property. His concerns were well addressed by the Board regarding the roof <br />runoff into dry wells and the mitigation in the front of the property of a French <br />drain. He was also concerned about the wall dimensions. <br />Bill Sterling introduced himself to'the Board and represents Eleanor Brown <br />located at 53 Kim Path and has same concerns as Michael Kelly. <br />• Closing Comments: <br />Bill Blaisdell made a motion to continue to March 27, 2013 request from Jeffrey <br />R. & Sheila Eydenberg Trustees request for special permit under §174-63 and <br />§ 174-27.2 of the zoning bylaws concerning variation of restrictions under Article <br />XI Flood Plane Zone Provisions and Storm Water Management to raise the grade <br />on property located in an R-3 Zoning District at 16 Squaws Lane (Map 117 Parcel <br />83) Mashpee, MA. <br />Mr. Forbush seconded the motion to continue the March 27, 2013 Hearing. Votes: <br />Mr. Forbush, yes, Mr. Bonvie, yes, Mr. Reiffarth, yes, Mr. DeBarros yes, all in <br />favor. <br />Mr. Blaisdell made a motion to approve the February 27, 2013 Minutes. Mr. <br />Forbush seconded the motion.
