Town of Mashpee <br />3 <br />16 Great Aeck 4Zoad jYonh <br />%hnnmc��' Nlashpee, Massachusens 02649 <br />MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MAY 8, 2013 <br />MINUTES <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, May <br />8, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. in the Waquoit Conference Room at the Mashpee Town <br />Hall, 16 Great Neck Road North. Board Members Jonathan D. Furbush, William <br />A. Blaisdell, Ronald S. Bonvie, Judy Horton and Associate Members John Dorsey <br />and Domingo K. DeBarros were present. Board Member James Reiffarth was <br />absent. <br />Chairman Jonathan D. Furbush opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m. He announced <br />the meeting is televised live on local Mashpee television. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Jeanne S. Mantel & Lewis Mantel, Trustees: Request a Special Permit under <br />§174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws to allow for construction of a landing, stairs, <br />pier, ramp and float extending across a total of more than seventy feet of coastal <br />beach, coastal bank, salt marsh, or bordering vegetated wetlands and/or coastal <br />• wetlands, freshwater wetlands, swamps or marshes on property located in an R-3 <br />zoning district at 270 Monomoscoy Road (Map 120, Parcel 58), Mashpee, MA. <br />Charlene Antrim introduced herself to the Board representing the Petitioners <br />Jeanne S. and Lewis Mantel. She stated the petitioners are requesting continuance <br />until the next Zoning Board Hearing on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 due to their <br />scheduled meeting with the Conservation Commission on Thursday, May 9, 2013. <br />Mr. Furbush and Mr. Bonvie asked Charlene if she was aware of the comments <br />submitted by the Conservation Agent regarding the reduced parking lot footprint. <br />She stated; "yes". <br />Bill Blaisdell made a motion to continue to May 22, 2013, Jeanne S. & Lewis <br />Mantel Trustees, Special Permit under §174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws to <br />allow for construction of a landing, stairs, pier, ramp and float extending across a <br />total of more than seventy feet of coastal beach, coastal bank, salt marsh, or <br />bordering vegetated wetlands and/or coastal wetlands, freshwater wetlands, <br />swamps or marshes on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 270 <br />Monomoscoy Road (Map 120, Parcel 58), Mashpee, MA. <br />Mr. Bonvie seconded the motion to continue; Votes: Mr. Furbush, yes, Ms. <br />Horton, yes, Mr. Dorsey, yes, Mr. DeBarros, yes.
