4NAw`a y, <br />b =:u Town . of Nashpee <br />• MQ � 76 Great Neck Road �Yort[r <br />Maslipee,fflassaehusetts0264J <br />0 <br />0 <br />MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />JULY 10, 2013 <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at <br />6:00 p.m. in the Waquoit Conference Room at the Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road <br />North. Board Members present were Chairman, Jonathan D. Furbush, Vice Chairman, <br />William A. Blaisdell, Board Member, John M. Dorsey, Associate Member, Richard J. Jodka <br />and Building Commissioner, Richard Morgan. Board Members, James Reiffarth, Ronald S. <br />Bonvie and Associate Member Domingo K. DeBarros were absent. <br />Chairman, Jonathan D. Furbush opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m. and announced the meeting <br />is televised live on local Mashpee television. He also announced to the audience if requesting <br />to speak in front of the Board, they need to introduce themselves and state their name and <br />address. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Jonathan Furbush announced there were three regular Board members sitting in on this <br />evening's hearing. Board Members Ron Bonvie and James Reiffarth were absent. James <br />Reiffarth usually excuses himself from the Board when there are any hearings regarding <br />Monomoscoy Island. Sitting on this hearing are three regular board members and Associate <br />Member, Richard Jodka. <br />Mr. Furbush stated every petitioner is entitled to five (5) Zoning Board Members to hear their <br />petition. As with every petition, in order to pass, there must be four positive votes. When all <br />five members are present, you can have four positive votes, one negative vote, and the petition <br />will still pass. There are only four (4) Zoning Board Members present. In order for this <br />petition to pass there would have to be four positive votes. The petitioner is allowed to request <br />a continuance and return in two weeks with five (5) Zoning Board Members in attendance. <br />John Slavinsky, of Cape & Islands Engineering requested he would like five (5) members <br />present to vote. Mr. Furbush announced this petition will be continued to Wednesday, July 24, <br />2013. <br />
