The Town Planner reported the Consulting Engineer has <br /> made an inspection of the property. Mr. Rowley has <br /> recommended that an amount of Seven Hundred and Fifty <br /> ($ 50. 00) Dollars be withheld (being $500. 0 plus 0 . <br /> Property reference: Conaumet Highlands, section of <br /> Balfour Lane, Covenant Release on Lots 10 and 11, retaining <br /> a Performance Deposit in the amount of $,2,, 175 . 00. <br /> MOTION: Don Myers made a Motion to reduce the <br /> Performance Bond in this matter to seven Hundred Fifty <br /> ( o . 00) Dollars on Lots 10 and 11 Balfour Lane; which <br /> Motion was seconded by Dennis Balzarini and so voted <br /> unanimously. <br /> The Board Members then signed reduction of Performance <br /> Guarantee document. <br /> Attorney Dills <br /> Monomoscoy Road West <br /> The Assistant Town Planner reported on the Consulting <br /> Engineer' s report dated February 4, 2003, as well as the <br /> position _ ' the Fire Department regarding. -road <br /> construction, <br /> The Chairman recognized Attorney Robert Mills, <br /> representing the owner of the property. He commented upon <br /> the inspection made by the Consulting Engineer. Said road <br /> is a graveled private way off Monomosoy Road. According <br /> to Attorney Mills, Mr. Rowley is satisfied with the <br /> condition of the road and has made no recommendations for <br /> improvement. <br /> Reference was then made to a letter received from <br /> Deputy Fire Chief Hamblin- <br /> At this point the Town Planner pointed out Planning <br /> Board responsibility to determine whether or not the road <br /> has sufficient grades and construction in order to serge as <br /> primary access to the property. Be preferred to said letter <br /> From Sheldon C. Hamblin, Deputy Fire Chief, dated March 18, <br /> 2003, in which he states "...maintenance of the road is <br /> necessary..." <br /> The Town Planner determined that DPW has not been <br /> consulted regarding plowing of the road. <br /> 2 <br />
