Further discussion with the Deputy <br /> Fire Chief is also warranted in order to address his <br /> concerns . Language setting a standard within the By-law is <br /> also necessary to satis-fy t- e Fire Department with <br /> reference to hotel/motel use only at this point in time. <br /> Richard Terry expressed opposition fearing the <br /> proposed aarti.o.1e/.zoning_-change. -would .set --a.. des-.ign - - <br /> precedent . <br /> Don Myers expressed agreement with the Chairman that <br /> this article should address hotel motels only. He also <br /> expressed concern regarding the height of the proposed <br /> buildings in relationship to the topography of the area, <br /> At this point the Chairman suggested the Board set <br /> certain goals for the upcoming year, to decide on those <br /> issues that are important to concentrate on with regard to <br /> zoning changes, items listed in the Local Comprehensive <br /> Plan that have not been addressed, as well as an overview <br /> buildout for the Town of Mashpee to be provided by the <br /> -Planning Staff. <br /> Richard Terry objected to what appears to be the <br /> passage of a special interest bill for one organization <br /> (The Brain Center) . <br /> The Town Planner stated the Comprehensive Plan <br /> strongly encourages the construction of hotels as a. part of <br /> the economic development of the Town. <br /> 10 <br />
