MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Arthur R. Joia, Jr. and Darlene E. Joia <br /> 49 Somerset Road (Map 16 Parcel 11) <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> V-2013-41 <br /> At the October 23, 2013 Public Hearings, Mr. Joia presented an updated site plan <br /> to the Board which depicts the property and area that he proposed to place the shed. The <br /> plan was not stamped and will be contingent upon Board approval. Mr. Joia stated he has <br /> a hardship with the rear of the property due to the location of the septic system. He stated <br /> the updated septic will require 11' x 32' along with a reserve area of I I' x 32' with no <br /> room available for the shed and would require a Variance for this project. He stated he is <br /> requesting to place the shed in the left side front section. He moved the shed closer to the <br /> garage approximately 5.2 feet and is seeking relief for this area. <br /> Mr. Furbush, Chairman, asked if there would be a foundation. Mr. Joia stated there <br /> will be no foundation, it's an existing shed that was moved from another location and has <br /> an 8 X 8 railroad tie skirt and is not bolted to the ground. <br /> Mr. Morgan stated he made a site visit and suggested to place the shed as close to <br /> the garage as he possibly could and put a gate or a fence around the area to make it <br /> esthetically uniform between the house and garage. <br /> General Finding: <br /> The subject property located at 49 Somerset Road is approximately 12,930 square <br /> feet. <br /> Specific Written Finding: <br /> §174-31.Land Space Requirements Table. <br /> History:Amended 5-8-1989,STM,Article 4,approved by Attorney General 8-10-1989. <br /> History:Amended 10-7-1991 ATM,Articles 13 and 24,approved by Attorney General 2-3-1992. <br /> �174-31.
