MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />OCTOBER 23, 2013 <br />MINUTES <br />Mr. Blaisdell read an email from Board of Health dated October 22, 2013 — "In Zone II. <br />The site plan with the house location was submitted to the Board of Health. Please inform <br />the applicant, the Board of Health will require a housing inspection by an agent of the <br />Board of Health, prior to demolition of the dwelling, due to the location of the lot within a <br />Zone Il and no Title V information on file, (dwelling constructed )". <br />Mr. Bonvie commented the memo from the Board of Health states the current septic system <br />needs to be inspected prior to demolition. If a new Title 5 system is installed, the Board of <br />Health will have to approve prior to returning to the Zoning Board of Appeals. <br />Mr. John Ryan, an abutter that resides at 13 Overlook Knoll Road stated he would like the <br />new home to stay within the required setbacks. <br />Elaine Crowel, Trustee of 6 Overlook Knoll is concerned with the setbacks and height of <br />the new home. <br />Donna Bonkowski, 21 Overlook Knoll. She asked if homes are allowed to be built up due <br />to the water problems on the street. <br />Margaret Guthrie, 16 Overlook Knoll. Would like to see the home to stay within the same <br />footprint. <br />Mr. Morgan suggested the applicant have both the engineer and architect get in touch with <br />him to discuss the project requirements. <br />In summary, the items that need to be addressed are as follows: <br />-updated site and plot plans from engineer and architect, depicting dry wells for <br />roof water run-off, as well as any structure changes, dimensions and cantilevers. <br />-Septic system plans for Board of Health <br />-Board of Health approval for either the current system and/or new Title 5 system <br />prior to returning to the Zoning Board of Appeals. <br />Mr. Bonvie made a motion to accept an extension for Petitioners, Michael and Lori Laskin <br />Bloom until the next scheduled hearings, dated Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 6:00 <br />pm. <br />Mr. Blaisdell, second, yes, Votes: Mr. Furbush, yes, Mr. Reiffarth, yes, Mr. Jodka, yes, and <br />Mr. DeBarros, yes.
