Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 23, 2004 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Cha ter 40B —Southside ReaLty.Trust: <br /> Correspondence was received from Attorney Kevin Kirrane dated <br /> February 12, 2004 relative to Southside Realty Trust as the proponent of a <br /> comprehensive permit project at the corner of Route 13 and Goodspeed <br /> p p p J p <br /> Meeting House Roach. His client, John McShane is trustee of South side <br /> Realty Trust. <br /> Mr. McShane has redesigned his project to include 24 units and to <br /> relocate the parcel, which is to be developed for connercia.l purposes. <br /> The 2 unit proposal incorporates units contained in four <br /> luadraplees as well 16 single family homes. The original proposal <br /> was for 1 single family detached homes. <br /> Correspondence was received from the Ma hpee Affordable Housing <br /> Committee dated February 12, 2004 endorsing the Chapter 4 B proposal <br /> as a 24-unit project. The project change from 16 units to 2 units will <br /> provide 6 affordable units. 1n addition, 4 units are to be targeted for <br /> the 120% median income level, or as the developer has marketed these <br /> units, for Town employees. <br /> The Board of Selecimen were requested to provide an update site approval <br /> to the Department of Housing and Community Development for 24 <br /> unites versus 16 units. The Town Administrator was directed to work <br /> with Town Counsel to provide comment to the DHCD as requested. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Acce Lance of Resignation—Director of Assessin <br /> Correspondence was received from David Bailey; Director of Assessing <br /> dated February 10, 2004 resigning from the position effective February 27, <br /> 2004. Mr. Bailey was present to discuss his resignation with the Board. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cah lane to accept the resignation of <br /> David Bailey as Director of Assessing with regret. It was agreed that <br /> wrWen commendation would be presented to Mr. Bailey for his <br /> dedicated service to the Town of 1lashpee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE; Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
