Mr. Rowley has made an inspection; there has been discussion in this matter. The <br /> ,proposal being made is to reduce the bond to One Thousand 1,000.00 Dollars cash in <br /> exchange for the occupancy permit. <br /> The Chairman stated that he has spoken with the Building Inspector and has been <br /> made aware of the situation. <br /> The Town Planner stated that shoulder work needs to be completed which is the <br /> reason the $1,000.00 is to be held as security. <br /> The Chairman recognized Peter Tsiculias, President,Newberry Properties,who <br /> informed the Board that he received notification that some of-the work has not been <br /> completed. He explained that the gas company had done some digging on the side of the <br /> road in question. He stated that he is happy to comply with the request to plant grass; <br /> however there had always been good chips,not grass at that site. <br /> Mr. Rowley stated he has no objection to the right side-of the road remaining in a <br /> natural state as the trees and vegetation meet the pavement and has remained undisturbed. <br /> However, the other area beyond the d iveway (to the left)requires loam and seed; to <br /> which the Applicant agreed. <br /> There being no further Board or Staff comment, the Chairman entertained a <br /> motion. <br /> MOTION: Joseph Mullin made a Motion to approve the reduction of the security <br /> m this matter to One Thousand 1, 0. Dollars cash; which Motion was duly <br /> seconded by Mary waygan and so voted unanimously. <br /> Public Nearing <br /> Amendments to Planning Board Rules and Regulations Governing <br /> The Subdivision of hand <br /> The appointed hour having arrived the Chairman called the Public Dearing,in this <br /> -matter to order. <br /> (Dennis Balzarini arrived at the meeting at this point, 7:20 p.m. <br /> There were some minor ch nges pelli g correction made to the draft document. <br /> Reference was being made to an additional paragraph on page 2 —"Test.pits <br /> shall be dug at the location of all stab-surface drain . e facilities to insure adequate soil <br /> conditions and depth to ground water. The bottom of all drainage systems shall be <br /> -maintained at least ' above-maximum high ground water. Test pit logs shall be shown <br /> on the definitive plan.' <br /> 2 <br />
