(George Petersen arrived at the Meeting at this point, 7:1 o p.m. <br /> Special Pernnit Signatures; Mary waygan, Dennis Balzarini, and David <br /> Kooha an, and George Petersen. <br /> Development Agreement <br /> Cape Cod Commission Staff <br /> Regarding Development Agreement Process and Meetings <br /> The Chairman called this matter to order and introduced Paul Neid wiecki, <br /> Executive Director, Cape Cod Commission;-and testy Senatori, Chief Regulatory <br /> Officer, Cape Cod Commission. <br /> The C ' reported on a meeting she attended last week at Town Mall with <br /> The 'Town Planner, Town Manager, Krity Senatori and Page Sopeika of the Cape Cod <br /> Commission in this regard. The Commission Staff commented on the flog chart. <br /> The Chairman recognized Mr. Neid wiecki,who-immediately deferred to I risty <br /> Senatori for explanation of the flow chart regulations. <br /> Ms. Senatori explained that the first step in Filing a Development Agreement is <br /> filing the Notice of Intent to File a Development Agreement. Mashpee Commons has <br /> filed a Notice of Intent, which has been approved by the Cape Cod Commission. <br /> Mashpee Commons now has one-year in which to file their Development Agreement <br /> Application, which brings.them to February 2011. <br /> Upon receipt of an Application the Commission makes a review in order to deem <br /> the Application complete, at which.port a sub-committee is formed. <br /> Town and Cape Cod Commission-Subcommittee conduct a Joint-Public Hearing. <br /> Regulations stipulate that-at least one of the public hearings be conducted in the Town of <br /> Mashpee. <br /> Dennis Balzarini,suggested that all public hearings be conducted in the evening at <br /> Mashpee Town Hall in order to-accommodate residents who are interested and who <br /> could like to attend. <br /> Mr.Neid wiecki-responded that a Development Agreement in conjunction with. <br /> Regional Policy plan have a regional innpct and therefore are reviewed at the Cape Cod <br /> Commission for regional partici' ation. He is sensitive however, to conducting as man <br /> hearings in Mashpee as possible. <br /> Iris. Senatori continued that several hearings may need to be conducted in order <br /> for the Applicant. The C mis ion will present a Staff Deport,the Subcommittee and the <br /> Planning Board will have the opportunity to ask questions of the Applicant as well as the <br /> Commission Staff. <br /> 2 <br />
