MOTION : Lee Gurney made a Motion to approve the <br /> street names for Joy Street and 'South Street as presented; <br /> which Motion wa.s. duly seconded by Dennis Balzarini and so <br /> voted una-nimousl.y.. <br /> Point ofClarification: fir. Rowley commented there i <br /> no actual layout for Joy Street. He acknowledged the need <br /> for safety reasons, for street numbers. However, if <br /> something is going to be identified as a street, it should <br /> be laid out as a street . He feels the designation is <br /> important, and suggested that Joy Street be named for the <br /> purpose of providing an address only. <br /> After some Board/Staff discussion, it was agreed that <br /> Lee Gurney would amend her -motion to be more specific. <br /> AMENDED MOTION: Lee Gurney made an amended Motion t <br /> .approve the naming of Joy Street and South Street for the <br /> express purpose of creating a mailing address for <br /> businesses located along this way, and for no other purpose <br /> and does not imply subdivision road approval; which Motion <br /> was duly seconded by Dennis Eal arini and so voted <br /> unanimously. <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Review of Proposed Zoning Article regarding Kennel <br /> Definitions Submitted for May 2007 Annual Town Meeting <br /> The appointed hour having arrived the Chairman read <br /> the Public Hearing notice into the record and called this <br /> matter to order. <br /> The Town Planner made reference to a letter received <br /> from Attorney David R. Harsch, dated April 18, 2007, <br /> addressed to the Ma hpee Planning Board. <br /> The Town Planner disclosed for the record that his <br /> daughters walk Attorney Harsch' s aloes on occasion and that <br /> they- receive payment for this service. <br /> Lee Gurney noted that her daughter is employed b <br /> Attorney Harsch and therefore she would not be <br /> participating in the vote for this matter. <br /> The Chairman then recognized Attorney Harsch who made <br /> reference to his letter dated April 18, 2007, addressed to <br /> the Mashpee Planning Board. <br /> 4 <br />
