In an attempt to streamline and improve the process, <br /> he suggested that perhaps both committees be combined into <br /> one, rather than two separate committees. <br /> However, as the bylaw was. being revised to incorporate <br /> this suggestion and as he was previewing the amendments made <br /> to i , he realized that this suggestion should be <br /> reconsidered. For the past two years both committees have <br /> been functioning very well -and there are competent and <br /> qualified members representing each committee. <br /> The Plan Review Committee provides a technical review, <br /> working with the Fire Department to resolve safety issues, <br /> as well a-s consideration o�f parking and conservation <br /> issues, <br /> The Design Review Committee addresses site planning, <br /> building size and placement, design. compatibility, exterior <br /> appearance including construction materials and finishes, <br /> parking, roadways, landscaping, site grading., building <br /> entrance, and placement of exit signs . <br /> Thomas O' Hara feels the two eparart_e committees have <br /> been working well, and that the Town will be better served <br /> if these two committees remain as they are. <br /> He requested a Planning Beard vote to make no changes <br /> in the statu-s of both the Design Review and Plan Review <br /> Committees . <br /> After some Board discussion the Chairman entertained a <br /> motion. <br /> MOTION: Thomas O' Hara made a Motion to ma.-ke n <br /> charges in the Bylaw and that both the Design.
