Mr. Casey said that Mike [ ade ika downplayed the water in
cellar when showing ring him the unit before purchase. Mr. Casey said he had,a quote from
an independent consultant of$6,800 to fix the flooding pr blem, and that he would never
be able to sell his unit unless this problem is rectified.
Torn Guinn went into some detail about hover they are running gutters into dry wells and
about the instalfati n of French drains. He added that Charlie was aware of this.
r
,Jim Dorgan suggested that the trustees may want to go to the Building Inspector with
their grievances, as these items really are not Planning Board issues. His.c mment was
followed by a grievance from resident Julie Hall. Ms. Hall said that she keeps hearing "it
will be done., She was dismayed that Mr. Bornstein seems to be employing teenagers
to do landscaping work that she felt should be performed by engineers. Another
resident, Jane Brown talked about "white lies" and Mr. Bornstein's refusal to keep
promises.
Tom Guinn responded that Ms. Halls' requests were never ignored. He said they tried
everything to heed her requests.
Beverly Kane read from the special permit and reminded Torn Quinn that he cannot
proceed with Building 26 until these landscaping issues are taken care of. Steve Dolan .
reminded that Nor. Bornstein asked for approval based on the landscaping being
_ adequately completed. Tory Guinn said that they had done everything that Charlie
asked for and that they were continuing to schedule things as quickly as possible. Jim
Dorgan assured the trustees that the Planning Board will hold Mr. Bornstein
accountable to the conditions of the special permit.
More residents carve forward with grievances, including Bid Rodrigues and 1lillia'm
Casey, once again. Jim Dorgan and Steve Dolan brought up the fact-that these issues
are beyond the scope of Planning Board responsibilities. It was suggested that the
residents approach the Building Department with their individual concerns.
Beverly insisted that Charlie needed to be involved in issues regarding draiinage. Jim
Dorgan said that he-wants Charlie present at the actual installation of the French drains.
Harry Greico spoke up and said that he was:assured by Torn Quinn that numbered
parking spaces would be done.
Approval of Minutes
Motion by Dennis to approve Minutes of April 1 t and May 2"d.
