He read from his <br /> lengthy letter regarding dying trees and landscaping issues and black turpentine <br /> beetles. <br /> Response by Tom Quinn; he was aware of one dead pine tree and said he would take it <br /> down. The other tree that was noted by Mr. Casey, he said, was there before <br /> construction began and would not be his responsibility. He said that there is no <br /> documentation by any landscaper which confirms the presence of black turpentine <br /> beetles. He reminded the trustees that they are the ones Who advised against putting in <br /> too much grass because the didn"t want to maintain it. There was some discussion <br /> about pine bark vs. grass. He added that he never saw this letter and felt that he was <br /> blind-sighted by it. He provided a report which shored-every tree and how they were all <br /> graded, bermed and limbed. He said he saved thousands of trees, and lost two. He said <br /> that he was told by a Conservation commissioner not to touch limbs because of nesting. <br /> Dennis asked if anyone from v indchime had tried to contact Torn Quinn. It was <br /> determined that no one had. Dennis told everyone that they needed to cone together to <br /> discuss these issues. Torn Fudala said to provide Charlie with the enact location of the <br /> trees in question so that he could go over and out the situation. It was decided to have <br /> Charlie present his findings to the next meeting. Tory Quinn said he would do whatever <br /> Charlie wanted. <br /> indchirne Resident Fred Roland, Unit 122 had a question about Phase 113. He granted <br /> to know if that Phase was completed and certified. Torn Fudala responded yes. Mr. <br /> Roland said than his building was the only one that had bark chips on three sides with <br /> only one small strip of grass. He asked if Stu Bornstein would put in more grass. Torn <br /> Guinn replied, "yes,, and again, asked the residents to cone to him with their requests. <br /> Mike Nade ika added that they had reps ed the parking lot as required for bldgs. 142 <br /> 154. He said that Charlie could come and look at it and report back. <br /> Trustee Rosita Lacey said that she wanted the Board to know that7orn Quinn had <br /> made a good effort to male good on his.promise to fix landscaping issues and that n <br /> further hold up on the special permit for Phase 11 was necessary. <br /> Next, the issue of-the temporary access road by one of the resident"s units. There were <br /> continued concerns regarding the trucks not going all the gray around and using this <br /> road by Fran's unit. There was some discussion regarding why this violation continues <br /> to happen. Dennis suggested that Torn Guinn get together with the trustees to talk <br /> about this issue. <br />
