i <br /> i <br /> Town of Mashpee <br /> Planning Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> Octoberr <br /> 7, 1998 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board Meeting was called to <br /> order in conference Room #1, Mashpee Town Hall, 15 Great Neck <br /> Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts at 7 : 00 p.m. on Wednesday, <br /> ; <br /> Y <br /> October 7, 1998 . The vice Chairman, John Kuchinski, presided. <br /> Planning Board Members present: John Kuchinski, vice <br /> Chairman; Dennis Balzarini; and James Dorgan. <br /> Absent: Patrick Coffey, Chairman; Chance Reichel, clerk; <br /> Scott Mitchell, Associate Member; and Charles Rowley, consulting <br /> Engineer. <br /> Also present: F. Thomas Fudal a, Town Planner; and Eric <br /> Twarog, Assistant Town Planner. <br /> A quorum being present, the vice Chairman called the Meeting = � <br /> to order. As the first order of business he called the matter <br /> of• <br /> Approval Not Required Plan <br /> Richard Sargent-Down Cape Engineering <br /> Taff rail way-Signature of 2-Lot ANR Plan <br /> The Planning Board informed Mr. of ala of regulation size <br /> plans 24 x 36, requesting he resubmit plans to regulation; to <br /> which Mr. O j al a agreed. ' <br /> The vice chairman suggested the Board review the 18 x 24 <br /> f <br /> size plans as submitted, but to hold off signing until such time ' <br /> as regulation size plans are filed. <br /> Mr. of ala made reference to Plan entitled, "Subdivision Plan <br /> of Land in Mashpee, Prepared for Richard Sargent, to be filed in <br /> the Land court, Dated October 1, 1998. 11 IINote: Lots 1559 and ; <br /> 1560 are not separate building lots and are for conveyance <br /> Purposes only to the abutting lots. " <br /> Mr. Ojala stated the lots were substandard, and do not <br /> constitute a subdivision because theyare not building lots, as <br /> noted on the Plan. He also stated this to be a Land Court <br /> Parcel . A request had previously been made to the Land court to <br /> combine the two lots. Land Court responded that said request 411 ' <br /> would have to be made in a two-step process in which they would <br /> require the plan being submitted signed first, with the <br /> combination of lots at some future date. Mr. Oj ala noted this 11 <br /> procedure would have represented a hardship to his client. <br /> There was some general discussion with references being made <br />
