{ <br /> Town of Mashpee <br /> Planning Board - <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> September 17, 1997 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board Meeting was called to <br /> order in Conference Room #1, Mashpee Town Hall, 15 Great Neck' <br /> Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, <br /> September 17, 1997 . The Chairman, Patrick Coffey, presided. , <br /> Planning Board Members present: Patrick Coffey, Chairman; <br /> Dennis Bal zarini, vice Chairman; and John Kuchinski, Clerk. <br /> w{ . <br /> Also present : Thomas Fud.ala, Town Planner; Eric smith, <br /> Assistant Town Planner. <br /> Discussion-The Bornstein Company-Windchime Point ; <br /> e Chairman recognized Terry Eldredge, representing Mr. <br /> Bornstein. Mr. Eldredge provided the original plan, approved A <br /> in 19 8 7-19 8 8, as well as Phase I I-A of the proposed plan. He <br /> indicated elevation/contour problems as they relate to the <br /> original plan (Building #3 7, #40) . He pointed out distances from <br /> Buildings #30, #35 from screened.-in porch to pavement, as well as <br /> garage distances of Building #30 . He explained his intention is <br /> to make changes in order to alleviate said problems. - <br /> The Chairman inquired as to the grade of Building ##3 7 . Mr. <br /> Eldredge answered, "diving down into a wet land. . .very steep. n <br /> Dennis Balzarini inquired as to Budding #40, to which Mr. <br /> Eldredge answered, the original plan indicates a number of <br /> proposed contours, he is proposing one. Mr. Eldredge stated that <br /> Building #34 is not to be changed., making reference to Plan of " ?4�# <br /> Land entitled, Windchime Point, Mashpee, MA. , Eldredge Surveying <br /> and Engineering, Dated, September 17, 1997. Mr. Eldredge then <br /> made reference to the depth of the driveways from Building #35, � <br /> scale approximately eighteen feet from the edge of pavement to <br /> garage. <br /> " W!A 1 ti <br /> NEY <br /> Mr. Eldredge introduced a color Site Plan, indicating <br /> previously proposed approved buildings, and buildings with no <br /> change. In response to an inquiry by the Town Planner, Mr. r <br /> Eldredge stated the Buildings, as shown on the plan, are to have <br /> no changes, with the exception of Building #37. Due to five feet r <br /> of exposed foundation below basement floor, the building has been <br /> dropped four and one--half feet in elevation. The original grade , <br /> has been reversed from the street to parking area at two percent. <br /> The basement floor elevation would be 40 . 7 rather than 45.2 . <br /> The Town Planner inquired as to effects proposed changes <br /> would have on clearing, to which. Mr. Eldredge responded, "I t <br /> doesn' t change it . . . significantly. " The result being a higher <br /> hummock than previously indicated. John Kuchinski asked about <br /> i <br /> .I <br />
