Mashpee Zoning
Board of Appeals
• 1
Minutes -
January 9, 2008
TOWN OF MASHPEE
Zoning Board of Appeals
Minutes — Wednesday, January 9, 2008
The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held a Public Hearing on
Wednesday, January 9, 2008. at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board
Members Robert Nelson, James Reiffarth and George Bolton were
present.. Alternate member William Blaisdell was also present.
Members Zella Elizenberry and Jonathan Furbush were absent.
Robert Nelson opens the hearing at 7:00 p.m.
Robert Nelson informs the applicants and audience members that
due to the fact that there are only 4 voting members of the board
• present tonight, everyone has the right to ask for a continuance until
there is a full compliment of five. They may also choose to wait and
have one of the members view a tape and then take a vote or, they
may take their chances and vote with the four members knowing that
all four present would need to vote affirmatively to have the motion
pass.
James Reiffarth reads .the continuances.
Informal Discussion: Karen Lotter and Ted Colllings (287 Falmouth
Road)
Ted Collings who owns 287 Falmouth Road is interested in having
Christian Bible Study classes out of his home. He sets up Christian
Stores for various churches and wanted to see what the ZBA thought
about him actually holding classes and having books delivered to his
home for sale to churches and similar things. The Board feels this
would be fine and Bob Nelson tells Mr. Collings. to move forward with
• Plan Review/Design Review to address parking issues and possible
deliveries that having this type of business would entail. Mr. Collings
