Mashpee Zoning
Board of Appeals Arthur Joia, III
2 V-08-12
Board reviews the plan and discusses the layout of the design with Mr. Joia. Jonathan
Furbush makes a motion to grant the following variances:
A 9.2 foot variance on the south side
A 4.7 foot variance on the west side
A 1.9 foot variance on the front(Cambridge Street)
Robert Nelson seconds the motion. All agree So moved. Reference plans from Norman
Grossman of East Falmouth, MA, dated February 28, 2008, Plan No. C-978-R
GENERAL FINDINGS
1. that the subject property is located at 48.Cambridge Drive and contains 11,254
square feet.
SPECIFIC FINDINGS
The Board determined that:
1. a literal enforcement of the By-laws would involve substantial hardship to
the petitioner.
2. Desirable relief may be granted without substantial detriment to the public
good and without nullifying or substantially derogating from the intent or
purpose of the by-law.
In view of the foregoing, the Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals found that the
Petitioner met the criteria necessary for the granting of a Variance. Upon motion duly
made and seconded, the Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously on March 26, 2008
to grant the above referenced variances. Reference plans from Norman Grossman of East
Falmouth, MA, dated February 28, 2008, Plan No. C-978-R
