Reference plans from Cape &
Islands Engineering, dated March 3, 2008, File No. 109MA.
Other Business:
Inform Board of letter from Zella Elizenberry thanking everyone for the flowers.
Discuss terms of expiration for the Board. Lori will get a list of when everyone's
term is up.
Discuss Lori moving over to join the Building Department. Her new boss will be
Rich Stevens, the Building Inspector. She will report to him with all administrative
things instead of Joyce Mason. The ZBA will still answer to the Board of Selectmen.
Rich Stevens will be taking over Lori's office — Lori will be moving over to where the
Board of Health is currently and will join the Building Department. We are told there
will be modular walls built for Lori to have a cubicle and the ZBA may have use of the
conference room across the way should they need meeting space. The Board is not happy
over all with this move, however, some of the reasons that were given to Bob and Jim
were valid. They will work as best they can with the move which will be take place and
be effective July 1, 2008.
Bob Nelson also informs the Board that he discussed Special Permits being
removed from the ZBA's requirements with Tom Fudala, Town Planner. Mr. Nelson
brought up the fact that the residents are charged multiple fees to go before several
boards and he feels the ZBA just "rubber stamps" whatever the Conservation Committee
approves. It was further discussed that perhapsjust a variance request would be entertain
should the dock be required to be longer than 70 feet. The Board discusses when the
ZBA was first requirement to grant Special Permits for these pier, ramp and floats. Bob
will look into this and discuss this further with the board.
Jonathan Furbush makes a motion to adjourn. James Reiffarth seconds the motion. All
agree.
Meeting is adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
Re /eeccttfully subn i dd
Lori Corsi
ZBA Office Mgr.
to E d s- gnu GO -
)48310 WA01
AdHS'VW 30 HM01
