Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation on May 23, 2008 and May 30, 2008, a copy of which <br /> is attached hereto and made a part in the Town of Mashpee, on hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at which time the following members of the Zoning Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: Jonathan Furbush, James Reiffarth, <br /> William Blaisdell, Peter Hinden and Jack Dorsey.(Robert Nelson steps down on this <br /> hearing) <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> George Bezreh represents himself at this hearing. He is seeking a rear-yard <br /> variance in order to build an above ground pool in his back yard. His property is in a <br /> cluster subdivision and the setback requirement is 20 feet. Mr. Bezreh is looking for a 5 <br /> foot variance. Glenn Harrington, Health Agent, indicates on the site plan by note that the <br /> septic system is in front of the home and far enough away from the pool. He has no <br /> problem with it. Pemiy Feeney of 15 Surf Drive and President of Seabrook Village <br /> Association is present and is in support of the pool. The Board thanks her for her input. <br /> Jonathan Furbush indicates the lot coverage is appropriate at 18%; however if the Board <br /> were in favor of this he would ask to have a registered land surveyor stake out the pool <br />
