Mashpee Zoning <br />Board of Appeals Minutes <br />• 3 August 13, 2008 <br />engineer included the existing shed? Mr. Warburton says that everything is included. <br />The neighbors are fine with the shed since there are a lot of shrubs being planted. On the <br />plan, the actual shed will be moved closer to the lot line that what is shown. Mr. Nelson <br />says this is acceptable if Mr. Warburton signs the plans and shows exactly how far the <br />shed will be placed. Applicant is asking the shed to be 5 feet off the lot line instead of <br />the 10 feet they initially requested. Jonathan Furbush makes a motion to grant a 10 foot <br />variance on the northwesterly side and a 5 foot variance on the southwesterly side. <br />Robert Nelson seconds the motion. All agree. So moved. Reference plans from Sweetser <br />Engineering of South Dennis, MA., dated July 5, 2008 as amended by signature of <br />applicant's representative, Brian Warburton. <br />OTHER BUSINESS: <br />Mr. Nelson discusses the dumpster at the Mobil station. There was a complaint from <br />Jamie Regan (former chairman) that the dumpster was blocking the circular driveway that <br />enables people to drive all the way around. Mr. Regan said he thought there was <br />something in the special permit that said people must be able to drive all the way around. <br />Mr. Nelson reported that Rich Stevens, Building Commissioner spoke with the Mobil <br />Station and they agreed to move it, although as of yet, it has not been moved. <br />Bowdon Road/Pins: Rich Stevens informs the board that he has asked Mr. Pina to have <br />• the line truck removed and to tidy up the area. <br />Seminar: Lori Corsi reminds the board of the upcoming work shop that Town Counsel <br />Pat Costello is going to give on August 27'x'. All the Board members believe they will <br />make it. Mr. Dorsey is working and does not know if he can attend. <br />Minutes: James Reiffarth makes a motion to accept the minutes from June 25, 2008 and <br />July 9, 2008. Jack Dorsey seconds the motion. All agree. So moved. <br />Industrial Drive/Foley Auto Repair: The Board discusses the parking on Industrial Drive. <br />There are 24 spots and a requirement of one handicapped with van accessibility. The <br />Board discusses the problems with having an auto repair shop there — septic issues and <br />the building itself as far as fire codes etc. They will be going in front of Plan Review <br />again shortly. <br />Jack Dorsey makes a motion to adjourn the hearing.
