Mashpee Zoning
Board of Appeals Minutes
4 October 8, 2008
is The applicant comes before the Conservation Commission and
the ZBA as well as the Town Planner feel that is sufficient to
obtain permission to build the dock/pier/ramp and float. Mr.
Nelson and Mr. Slavinsky explain this to the Board and show
them on one of the plans how this will them. The Board agrees
and Mr. Nelson will have this amended at the town meeting.
Silva: (129 Industrial Drive)
Mr. Silva along with Diane Thompson, Zoning Consultant
address the Board regarding their pending application. Mr.
Nelson and Ms. Corsi had a meeting with Town Counsel as to
the procedure they should follow with this application. It has
been determined that Mr. Silva, who is the owner of the
building that Mr. Beaulieau (tenant) is seeking a special permit
to run his auto repair shop in — should file a Modification of
the Special Permit. Since Mr. Silva never finished some of the
requirements on the original special permit since 2004,
Counsel has instructed the Board to impose everything they
want completed within one year from the date of filing the
modification. There has been sufficient time to accomplish
these things and to date they have not been done. Although
Mr. Foley was the applicant — Mr. Silva is ultimately
responsible for the completion of the items on the Special
Permit. Mr. Nelson informs him of the following that they
want completed:
✓ Final paving
✓ The striping of the parking spots
✓ Handicapped spots
✓ Fencing in the dumpster
✓ Addressing the requirments from the Board of Health in
regard to the expansion of the leaching field for the septic
system.
