• Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Minutes <br />February 8, 2007 <br />Present: Bob Nelson, Zella Elizenberry, Marshall Brem, Jonathan Furbush, <br />Fred Borgeson, James Reiffarth <br />Charles Rowley, Consulting Engineer <br />Absent: Martin Gordon, George Bolton, Eric Dublier <br />Meetine Called to Order by Chairman Nelson at 3:05 p.m. <br />Town Hall, Conference Room #1 <br />APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br />ABKJJT. LLC: Mashvee Woods Development: <br />The Zoning Board of Appeals reconvened the Public Hearing on the <br />Chapter 40B comprehensive permit application of Mashpee Woods <br />Development to construct a total of 120 units of attached housing, twenty- <br />four units to be rental of which six would be affordable and ninety-six <br />units would be for sale of which twenty-four units would be affordable. <br />All units are proposed to be two bedroom units, a total of 240 bedrooms. <br />Property is located at 588 Main Street in an 1-1 zoning district (Map 19 <br />Parcel 10) Mashpee, MA. <br />Steven Giatrellis, Mashpee Woods Development was in attendance with <br />his counsel Kevin Kirrane to continue discussions regarding the Chapter <br />40B project application. <br />In the absence of Special Counsel Jason Talerman, it was agreed that legal <br />subjects would not be discussed at this time. However, the ZBA Board <br />indicated that representing counsels would be able to discuss legal matters <br />prior to the next Mashpee Woods public hearing. <br />It was noted the Affordable Housing Committee requested in writing a <br />response from the applicant regarding concerns relative to the project <br />proposal. It was agreed, the letter received from the AHC several months <br />ago would be forwarded to the applicant and special counsel for review. <br />The ZBA Board agreed to continue to address issues that arose from the <br />last meeting. Matters for discussion included the appraisal, drainage <br />• issues, egress, the project fire suppression system, handicapped parking, <br />dumpster locations, water district issues, and storm water management <br />practices. <br />
