*MINUTES CIP COMMITTEE 1-26-2022 APPROVED 2-2-2022* <br /> Meeting held via ZOOM: <br /> Present: Town Manager Rodney Collins, Finance Director Dawn Thayer,School Representative <br /> Patricia DeBoer, Member-at-Large Charles Gasior, Selectman Andrew Gottlieb, <br /> Finance Committee Member Michael Richardson, Member-at Large Edmund Sarno <br /> Attendees: Natural Resources Director Ashley Fisher, Fire Chief Thomas Rullo, Police Chief Scott <br /> Carline <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Collins at 4 pm. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Popponesset Meeting Room and via ZOOM <br /> MINUTES <br /> Approval of Minutes of January 25, 2022 <br /> Action deferred as the minutes were not completed. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> • Natural Resources—Total CIP Request$496,200 <br /> Department: Natural Resources <br /> Submitted by: Director Ashley Fisher <br /> Summary <br /> Project (Short title) FY2023 <br /> NATURAL RESOURCES <br /> Truck Replacements $ 90,200 <br /> Santuit Pond Study & Treatment $ 376,000 <br /> Water Quality Sonde Replacements $ 30,000 <br /> Total Natural Resources $ 496,200 <br /> The Natural Resources Director presented the FY2023 CIP requests to the committee as follows: <br /> The trucks currently in use by the department were used by the DPW previously and as per the <br /> Town mechanic there are multiple problems with these vehicles due to rot, etc. and that they <br /> should be replaced rather than trying to do further repairs. One of the vehicles cannot pass <br /> inspection. <br /> Members asked if regular maintenance has been performed and that was confirmed to be the case. <br /> It was stated that the new vehicles would include a proper undercoating by the manufacturer as <br /> well as bed liners, etc. The estimates obtained are from McGovern, a company currently on the <br /> state bid list. There were no further questions on this item. <br />
