Mashpee Zoning
Board of Appeals Minutes
2 June 13, 2007
Robert Webster of 407 Monomoscoy Road has no general objection to the project.
However, his concern is that a dock is built and it turns into a parking area with no home
on the premises for security purposes.
Beverlv Rvan of 399 Monomoscoy Road wishes to convey the same concerns. She has
no objection to the dock either but wants a home built to accompany the project.
Robert Francoeur of 411 Monomoscoy Road speaks about the sante concerns. Again,
he has no objection to the project but also wants a dwelling on the property.
The Board wishes to condition the Special Permit request on the applicant
obtaining an occupancy permit before construction of the pier, ramp and float can begin.
All members feel this is the best way to proceed with this matter. The abutters are
satisfied with this condition as well. Mr. Borselli agrees to comply with this condition.
Jonathan Furbush makes a motion to grant the special permit subject to applicant
obtaining an occupancy permit. Robert Nelson seconds the motion. All agree. So
moved. A roll call vote is taken. Jonathan Furbush votes yes. Robert Nelson votes yes.
George Bolton votes yes. James Reiffarth votes yes. The Special Permit is conditioned
• upon plans from Falmouth Engineering, dated January 3, 2007, revised April 18, 2007,
project number 04138 as prepared for Nancy Cook.
Othcr Business:
Chairman Robert Nelson talks to the Board about filling in the vacant seats on the
board. He suggests that they recommend to the Board of Selectmen to have James
Reiffarth fill out the unexpired time left on the Fred Borgeson's term and to have George
Bolton fill out the next available vacant spot should the need arise. The Board all agrees
with this suggestion. Lori Corsi will get this recommendation to the Board of Selectmen
as soon as possible.
William Blaisdell: Mr. Blaisdell is an interested applicant to join the ZBA. The
Board speaks with him in a general fashion and looks over his resume. Chairman Nelson
will discuss this with Town Manager Joyce Mason since the procedure is to first go
through the Selectmen's office and then the ZBA. Mr. Blaisdell is well received by the
• Board.
