Town of Mashpee <br />Zoning Board of Appeals Minutes <br />3 October 24, 2007 <br />• Paul Dardano <br />23 Pine Avenue <br />He has 21% lot coverage with a 3 bedroom dwelling. He feels Mr. Krock shows <br />disregard for the neighbors and blocks the bike path and walkway. He objects to <br />anything over 21 % lot coverage. <br />Jim Flanders <br />Rock Island Road <br />He is the builder for this dwelling and has built many of the homes in the <br />neighborhood. They withdrew the first application because the home owner wanted to <br />build a different house. <br />Walter Dardano <br />14 Rock Island Road <br />He feels 21 % lot coverage is reasonable and approves of that. <br />Johnathan Furbush asks applicant want the hardship is that he needs 24% lot coverage? <br />Attorney Kirrane answer that their taxes are astronomical and they want a home that <br />values the property taxes. Attorney Kirrane also tells the Board that most of the lot <br />coverage is in the rear of the house and impacts no one. <br />• Bob Nelson sees that the Board's general consensus is such that they are not willing to <br />grant the 24% lot coverage and would like to see the house size reduced. He also <br />mentions that although the Board can condition the decision with their lighting requests, <br />they should have the Association deal with that issue. <br />The Board makes a motion to continue the hearing until November 14, 2007. All agree <br />So moved. <br />Lori Corsi discusses the workshop that will be offerered on November 9'h to the Board. <br />Everyone will let her know if they are available to attend. <br />Bob Nelson makes a motion to adjourn the hearing.
