Mashpee Zoning <br />Board of Appeals Minutes <br />• 1 December 12, 2007 <br />TOWN OF MASHPEE <br />Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Minutes — Wednesday, December 12, 2007 <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held a Public Hearing on Wednesday, December <br />12, 2007. at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board Members Robert Nelson, Zella Elizenberry, <br />Jonathan Furbush, James Reiffarth and George Bolton. Alternate member William <br />Blaisdell was also present. <br />Robert Nelson opens the hearing at 7:00 p.m. <br />Zella Elizenberry reads the continuances. <br />Informal Discussion: Attorney Robert Mills to discuss the possibility of <br />Robert Stow building a 16'x 24' boathouse. <br />Attorney Rob Mills and John Slavinsky ask the Board their thoughts on <br />• whether they would allow Robert Stow to build a boat house on a small <br />parcel of land that applicant is considering to purchase. It is unbuildable for <br />a residence (3,750 sq. ft) and that is why applicant is considering a <br />boathouse. The Board asks about the lot and Bob Nelson states that <br />Conservation would have to inform them what they think of the lot and what <br />restrictions they have. Attorney Mills discusses Section 174-25 H (7) which <br />mentions the lot to be ok for garages and the like but not residences. The <br />Board would entertain a formal filing from the applicant and it is easier to <br />see the plans and ask further questions at that point. Attorney Mills and Mr. <br />Slavinsky thank the Board for their time. <br />NEW PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />.John and Cvnthia West: Request a Variance for an undersized lot in order to build a <br />three bedroom dwelling on property located in an. R-3 zoning district at 26 Russell Road <br />(Map 120 Parcel 29) Mashpee, MA. <br />Sitting: Robert Nelson, Zella Elizenberry, Jonathan Furbush, George Bolston and James <br />Reiffarth. <br />Mr. West presents his application to the Board. Also present is Bob Melvin, the person <br />0 interested in purchasing this land from Mr. West. Mr. West went to the planning board to <br />
