THE JOBS &WHITINGS NEIGHBORHOOD <br /> Building Waifs <br /> • Building walls shall be finished in stone, brick, stucco, cast stone, wood or Hardiplank shingle <br /> and wood or Hardiplank Clapboard.A pre-approved list of materials shall be made available <br /> at the Office of the Neighborhood Architect. <br /> Material <br /> —Material 1 <br /> Heavier <br /> Basement/ <br /> —Undercroft <br /> A building wall shall show no more than two materials in addition to the <br /> basement or undercroft. Materials shall change only along a horizontal line,with the heavier <br /> material below the lighter. <br /> • Openings above the first story shall not exceed fifty percent(50%) of the total building wall <br /> area, with each facade being calculated independently. <br /> Stucco shall be cement and may be integral color or painted. Finish may be smooth sand- <br /> finish. Full size samples of alternate textures must be submitted.to the.Neighborhood Architect <br /> for approval. <br /> Undercrofts shall be enclosed with horizontal woodboards,wood louvers, shingles, or framed <br /> wood lattice. <br /> Wood or Hardiplank shall be in the pattern of clapboard drop siding, or board-and-batten and <br /> shall be painted an integral color. ' <br /> ° Trim shall be.a minimum of grade "B" lumber or Symwood and shall not exceed 1 inch in <br /> depth of 6 inches in width at comers and around openings, except at the front entronce,which <br /> may be any size or configuration. <br /> The Neighborhood Architect shall approve brick and stone. Brick may be painted. <br /> • Arches and Piers shall match the building walls. Arches of masonry shall be no less than 12 x <br /> 12 inches. <br /> - - Columns and Posts shall be made of wood, fiberglass, stone or cast stone. Posts sholl be no <br /> less than 6 x 6 inches. <br /> • Intercolumniation on the ground floor shall be square or vertically proportioned. <br /> • Storefront casing shall be made of metal, wood, Hardiplank,AZAK, stone and cast stone. <br /> • Composite material may be used upon approval from the Neighborhood Architect. <br /> Prohibited: <br /> Plastic or metal stucco beads or stops <br /> -Aluminum siding on public facades <br /> Mashpee Commons Cape Cod,MassaahUsetts <br />
