THE JOBS &WHITINGS NEIGHBORHOOD <br /> Signage <br /> ® Facade signs shall be designed with the storefronts, no larger than 3 feet in height by any <br /> length, and shall not be translucent. A sign may not exceed 10%of the wall area on which it is <br /> located. <br /> Signs shall be made of wood or metal. Plastic,or synthetic material approved by Neighborhood <br /> Architect may also be used for signs: <br /> • One blade sign per commercial space may be attached perpendicular to the facade, or at a <br /> diagonal from the building corner. Blade signs may extend up to 4 feet from the frontage line, <br /> and should not exceed 1.5 feet in vertical dimension. <br /> Artisan or Home Occupation signs maybe mounted on legs in a yard, or attached to a fence <br /> or wall. Home Occupation Signs may not exceed 1.5 square feet. Artisan signs are for <br /> temporary use of artisans or contractors doing work on the property where they are erected, <br /> and may not exceed 6 square feet. <br /> Window signs may be painted or vinyl applied directly to the glass. <br /> • Signage is permitted on all vertical faces of awnings. <br /> • On brick walls no less then 50 feet from a principal frontage line painted signs may be <br /> installed.These signs should be considered to be temporary, and should therefore not be the <br /> primary sign of the associated business. <br /> • Buildings in T-5 zone may be permitted one architecturally integrated wall sign identifying the <br /> building name and date of establishment. Size, placernent and design of such signs shall be <br /> subject to approval of the Neighborhood Architect. <br /> One address numbers shall be placed on the principal building facades adjacent to the <br /> principal entry, no greater than 6" in height. <br /> 1 <br /> Mashpee Commons Cape Cod,Massachusetts <br />
