• Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Minutes <br />May 16, 2006 . <br />Present: Robert Nelson, Zella Elizenberry, Fred Borgenson, <br />Jonathan Furbush, Marshall Brem, James Reiffarth <br />Special Counsel Jason Taleman of Kopelman & Paige P.C. <br />Absent: Eric Dublirer <br />Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Nelson at 1:01 p.m. <br />Town Hall, Conference Room #1 <br />APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br />Jobs & Whitings Residential Neiahborhoods Affordable & Units Plans: <br />Douglas Storrs, Mashpee Commons Limited Partnership was in <br />attendance to continue discussions relative to the Jobs/Whitings residential <br />neighborhoods phasing plan. <br />• The correspondence received from Chief of Police Rodney Collins dated <br />May 3, 2006 was read aloud by the ZBA Chairman regarding speed limits <br />related to the referenced 40B project. In the event the police department <br />does not set the limits, they would be excluded from any decisions made <br />by the ZBA on the neighborhoods in the Mashpee Commons project <br />proposal. <br />Fire Chief George Baker was asked about two bylaws relative to Fire <br />Protection Acts pertaining to street width and paved access to dwellings. <br />Chief Baker indicated the plan as presented has met the requirements of <br />his department. The matter was addressed adequately and deemed <br />complete. <br />
