• Zoning Board of Appeals
Minutes
December 18, 2006
DECISIONS AND CONDITIONS:
13. Stormwater Management
It was noted the preliminary plan is base -line feasible for
stormwater management. A final operation and maintenance plan
for each phase shall be submitted with the Final Site Plans for the
review and approval of the Board's engineer. Charles Rowley,
Engineer will be consulted regarding this matter.
6. Phi
It was agreed the Applicant would meet with the ZBA Board every
six months to discuss the progress of construction. Seven (7)
phases are considered to meet market and affordability. The
architect was requested to delineate the tentative phases of
construction for additional review.
• OLD BUSINESS:
For disclosure, it was noted Jobs -Whitings Trust is entirely independent of
Mashpee Commons Limited Partnership.
There is an outstanding question regarding the ownership of Whitings
Road, a paper road and common boundary between Deer Crossing. New
construction would not take place on this road until such time ownership is
clear and proven.
Lots 281 & 282, an area of approximately 7.63 acres is intended to be
donated for use as open space, community gardens and pathways. A
conservation restriction is anticipated to be approved by the applicable
regulatory agencies prior to the approval of the intended phase. The
Applicant would assume management until such time the homeowners
association would mature to maintain responsibility.
A street name is needed for the small road adjacent to the green
space/island shown on the plan as Lot 129. Jobs South Main was
considered. For the record, Mr. Nelson indicated he is opposed to the
civic building also proposed on Lot 129.
