Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on August 5, 2005 and August <br /> 12, 2005, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at which time the following members of the Zoning Board <br /> of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Robert Nelson, Zella Elizenberry, <br /> Marshall Brem, Evano Cunha and James Reiffarth. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Attorney Kevin Kirrane from Dunning&Kirrane represents the applicant at this <br /> hearing. They are seeking a Special Permit in order to add office space to the existing <br /> building and create additional parking to accommodate that additional space. The lot <br /> currently contains 28,045 square feet with 125' of frontage. The office building contains <br /> 4,224 gross square feet and 15 parking spaces. The applicant proposes a 28' x 44' <br /> addition to be attached to the rear of the existing building. The total gross floor area will <br /> be 7,920 square feet which includes basement space along with 12 more parking spaces. <br /> The existing lot coverage is currently 5.2% and the new addition will be 9.7%.
