Mashpee Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals Minutes <br /> 1 Public Hearing <br /> March 10, 2004 <br /> TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> • Zoning Board of Appeals <br /> Minutes - Wednesday, March 10, 2004 <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE HEARING:IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, March 10, <br /> 2004 at 7:00 P.M. at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board Members Robert Nelson and Zella <br /> Elizenberry were present along with Associate Members Marshall Brem, Richard <br /> Guerrera and Frederick Borgeson. Chairman James Regan was absent. <br /> Vice Chairman Robert Nelson brought the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Jonathan and Pervnthia Bigwood: Request a Special Permit under Section 174-25- <br /> G(5) of the Zoning By-laws in order to manufacture, assemble or package goods on <br /> property located in an I-1 zoning district at 57 Industrial Drive (Map 88 Parcel 24) <br /> Mashpee, MA. Owner of Record: Jonathan and Perynthia Bigwood Trust, J&P Bigwood <br /> Nominee Trust. <br /> Sitting: Robert Nelson, Zella Elizenberry and Marshall Brem. <br /> John Slavinsky of Cape & Islands Engineering represents the petitioners at this hearing. <br /> They are seeking a special permit for a commercial building that will involve the use of <br /> metal products and architectural steel work. Metal fabricating will be sent off to be done. <br /> Design Review has approved the plans. There is some discussion regarding the distance <br /> in the back of the building due to a portion of the lot being in a residential zone. The <br /> Board discusses the hours of business and how much noice this may create. Mr. <br /> Bigwood informs them that the hours of business is 8-5 p.m. and there should not be any <br /> noise heard from the street. They have twisted the building therefore accommodating all <br /> concerns. Marshall Brem moves to grant the special permit. Zella Elizenberry seconds <br /> the motion. All agree. So moved. Reference Plans from Cape and Islands Engineering, <br /> Plan No. 122303, 205MA, dated December 23, 2003. <br /> Thomas and Mariana Duncan: Request a Variance under Section 174-25 L9 of the <br /> Zoning By-Laws in order to build a pier, ramp and float that exceeds the 70 foot limit on <br /> property located in an R-3 zoning district at 33 Shoestring Bay Road (Map 84 Parcel 24) <br /> Mashpee, MA. <br /> AND <br /> `�aZThomas and Mariana Duncan: Request a Special Permit under Section 174-25 I.9 of <br /> eZoning By-Laws in order to construct, maintain and license a pier, ramp and float on <br />
