Govoni, Chairman
Dear Mr. Govoni:
I have reviewed a set of plans marked "Preliminary" prepared by David C. Thulin,
PE, PLS dated 6/7/03 and an accompanying drainage calculation and report dated June
9, 2003 for the above referenced project.
The plans show a proposed 40' wide road and eleven (11) lots. The following
comments are relative to this site plan and drainage study.
• Sheet 1 of 6
It is assumed that a final definitive plan will be prepared for the purpose of
recording in the Barnstable Registry of Deeds and that this plan will not be presented to
the Mashpee Planning Board in the usual manner. There are, however, several items
that should be incorporated into the final plan.
1. Provide a 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" block for the registry stamp,
2. Provide appropriate signature blocks for the Board of Appeals and Town
Clerk,
3. Identify street monuments to be set,
4. Insert a dimension line between Lot 7 and Lot 8 and define the drainage
easement with metes and bounds,
5. Label the proposed street name,
6. Clarify the dimensioning along Meetinghouse Road for Lot 1,
7. Identify existing street monuments,
8. Define the drainage easement by metes and bounds on Lot 1 and Lot 4,
9. Stamp and sign the plans,
10. Indicate the method of securing road construction i.e. road covenant
noted on the plan or other appropriate security approved by the Town of
Mashpee.
Sheet 2 of 6
Sheet 2 shows a relocated driveway for Lot 1 and the proposed on-site sewage
disposal systems for each lot. Overall approval of the disposal systems would
Syesumably be left to the Board of Health.
E Al Lot 6 is the only lot shown with a detached garage. Can an adjustment be made
thI Ithat the garage could be attached and the overall view of the house
• J4~ d? dT Too b j "O!
40,
