II <br /> Town of Mashpee <br /> • 9 <br /> " MASHPEE ZONING BOA A I <br /> ga y, 16 Great Xeck load Arth <br /> BLUE�U" Decision for a Variance Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> Re: Christ the King Church 5 Jobs Fishing Road C <br /> Map 74 Parcel 33 <br /> D <br /> A Petition was filed on July 26, 2002 by Christ The King Church for a Variance <br /> from Section 174-5 LB of the Zoning By-laws for permission to exceed the 20 square <br /> foot maximum to allow for installation of new signage on property located in an R-3 <br /> zoning district at 5 Jobs Fishing Road (Map 74 Parcel 33) Mashpee, MA. <br /> I . <br /> i <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a F <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on September 6 and <br /> September 13, 2002, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> I <br /> Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at which time no one was there to represent the <br /> petitioner. Another hearing was held on Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at which time the <br /> following members of the Zoning Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> � I <br /> Marshall A. Brem, Edward M. Govoni and Robert G.Nelson. <br /> � i <br /> Mr. Salvario Maldani represented the petitioner. The Church is seeking a 12 foot <br /> variance in order to replace the temporary sign that is currently on their property. The <br /> sign is 4x8 and is 32 square feet. The current zoning limits signs to 20 square feet and <br /> therefore Petitioner is seeking a 12 square foot variance. The Board grants Christ The <br /> King Church a 12 square foot variance to erect their proposed sign. <br /> No comments from abutters. <br /> I <br />
