First and foremost, the existing identified and uncompleted items impacting the town need to be <br /> finished. The runoff problems identified in the Rowley/Planning Board report, Sa t it Pond Algae, <br /> Mashpee River dredging, lawn fertilizer controls and public water quality education efforts are all <br /> items that need furtber attention. <br /> I hope the next Selectmen's review of the proposed Advisory Council will include a recognition of <br /> these open items and an immediate transition ofthe Blue Ribbon Comprehensive Committee to the <br /> proposed Selectman's Advisory Council. <br /> Edward A Baker <br /> President <br />
